Service of the Lord's Day with Rev. Ed Soto Sermon title: "Abba! Father!" Scripture: Isaiah 61:10-62:3; Galatians 4:1-7. Choral Anthem: “Christmas Lullaby” Words and Music by John Rutter Clear in the darkness a light shines in Bethlehem; Angels are singing, their sound fills the air. Wise men have journeyed to greet their Messiah; But only a mother and baby lie there. Ave Maria, Ave Maria. Hear the soft lullaby the angel hosts sing. Ave Maria, Ave Maria, Maiden, and mother of Jesus our King. Where are his courtiers, and who are his people? Why does he bear neither scepter nor crown? Shepherd his courtiers, the poor for his people, with peace as his scepter and love for his crown. Ave Maria… What though your treasures are not gold or incense? Lay them before him with hearts full of love. Praise to the Christ child, and praise to his mother who bore us a Savior by grace from above. Ave Maria, Hear, O hear the lullaby angels sing. Ave Maria…

Service of the Lord's Day: A Service for the Hanging of the Greens. Choral Offertory: “The colors of winter” Words and arrangement by Joseph M. Martin Green is the holly, and white is the snow. The colors of winter surround us with hope. The red of the berry, the silver and gold, remind us of Jesus, who was born long ago. Green is for new life with joy shining bright. Love’s heart, pure and holy, is perfect and white. The red of the berry reminds us of grace. The silver and gold are our offerings of praise. The colors of worship are wondrous displays; bringing great beauty to seasons of faith. So let us be grateful and shine in the night with colors of peace, and the gospel of light…
