Service of the Lord's Day with Rev. Ed Soto. Sermon Title: "The Apostle's Creed, Part VIII" Scripture: Genesis 2:5-8; 1 Corinthians 12:14-19. Choral Anthem: “To Believe” Words and Music by Mathew Evancho, Arranged by Heather Sorenson Before I lay me down to rest, I ask the Lord one small request, I know I have all I could need, but this prayer is not for me. Too many people on this day don’t have a peaceful place to stay. Let all fighting cease, that Your children may see peace; wipe their tears of sorrow away. To believe in a day when hunger and war will pass away; to have the Hope amidst despair that every sparrow’s counted, that You hear each cry and listen to each prayer. Let me try always to believe that we can hear the hearts that grieve. Please help us not ignore anguished cries of the poor, or their pain will never leave… Help us do Your will, oh, Father, in the name of all that’s true, and we’ll see in one another the loving image of You. Amen.

Service of the Lord's Day with Rev. Ed Soto. Sermon Title: "The Apostle's Creed, Part VII" Scripture: Psalm 37:8-14; Matthew 13:24-30. Choral Anthem: “You are there” by David Whipple, Jr. When the storm is raging ‘round me, You are there. When enemies surround me, You are there. When trials come my way, Lord, You lift my weary soul; for You are there through every storm. You are there. In the quiet of the morning, You are there. When we see the seasons turning, You are there. From the valleys to the mountains, in the sunshine and the rain, You are there, Lord, hallelujah, You are there… Through every day of my life, Lord. You are there. When I turn and walk away, Lord, You are there…Waiting with Your loving arms held open wide for me; you are there, every moment, You are there. Hallelujah, You are there, ever faithful, You are there…

Let the children stay, don’t send them away…. It may not seem like much, but I bless each one I touch. The kingdom of God belongs to these. Have faith like a child for with this our God is pleased.
