There is no video for this week's service. We apologize for the inconvenience. Service of the Lord's Day with Rev. Nancy Dawson Sermon Title: "Lord, To Whom Would We Go?" Scripture: John 6:56-69; Ephesians 6:10-20. Choral Anthem: “Blessed are the ones who wait for You” Words by David Foley and Julie I. Myers, Music by David Foley How silent lie the city streets, the very roads to Zion mourn. No resting place, just empty gates; the former splendor now is gone. The captives held in exile are fed the bread of tears; no laughter fills the lonely who grieve for Zion. Blessed are the ones who wait for you. Blessed are the ones whose hearts are true. O come, Emmanuel. Come, God of Israel. We lift our longing hearts to You. In You our souls will always hope; we pray You’ll answer when we call. Come now and cheer out spirits here; O Dayspring, come redeem us all. More eager than the watchmen who search the sky for dawn. We’re looking for the rising of joy in Zion. Blessed are the ones who wait for You….

Service of the Lord's Day with Rev. Ed Soto Sermon Title: "An Unseen Encounter" Scripture: Ephesians 4:1-6; 1 Samuel 24:1-15. Choral Anthem: “To Believe” Words and Music by Mathew Evancho, Arranged by Heather Sorenson Before I lay me down to rest, I ask the Lord one small request, I know I have all I could need, but this prayer is not for me. Too many people on this day don’t have a peaceful place to stay. Let all fighting cease, that Your children may see peace; wipe their tears of sorrow away. To believe in a day when hunger and war will pass away; to have the Hope amidst despair that every sparrow’s counted, that You hear each cry and listen to each prayer. Let me try always to believe that we can hear the hearts that grieve. Please help us not ignore anguished cries of the poor, or their pain will never leave… Help us do Your will, oh, Father, in the name of all that’s true, and we’ll see in one another the loving image of You. Amen
Service of the Lord's Day with Rev. Ed Soto. Sermon Title: "An Unexpected Hero" Scripture: Ephesians 3:14-21; 1 Samuel 17:38-49. Choral Anthem: “You are there” by David Whipple, Jr. When the storm is raging ‘round me, You are there. When enemies surround me, You are there. When trials come my way, Lord, You lift my weary soul; for You are there through every storm. You are there. In the quiet of the morning, You are there. When we see the seasons turning, You are there. From the valleys to the mountains, in the sunshine and the rain, You are there, Lord, hallelujah, You are there… Through every day of my life, Lord. You are there. When I turn and walk away, Lord, You are there…Waiting with Your loving arms held open wide for me; you are there, every moment, You are there. Hallelujah, You are there, ever faithful, You are there…
Service of the Lord’s Day with Rev. Ed Soto. Sermon Title: “An Unnerving Foe” Scripture: Romans 8:31-39; 1 Samuel 17:1-11,32-37 Anthem: “Have you been to Calvary” Richard D. Baker. Soloist and Pianist: Linda Giles. Have you been to the cross where the Lord Jesus suffered? Have you been to Calvary? Have you been to the place of redemption for sinners? Have you been to Calvary? Refrain It was there on Calvary, God’s dear Son lay down His life for you. While there’s time, don’t delay place your faith in Christ Jesus. Turn your eyes now to Calvary. You can search, you can buy and try everything man-made, but it cannot satisfy. It is Christ, only Christ, who gives life more abundant, and He calls from Calvary. Refrain. While the Spirit’s clear voice can be heard softly pleading, give your life to Jesus now. Trusting faith is the way to have life everlasting, and He calls from Calvary. Refrain
