Service of the Lord’s Day with Rev. Ed Soto
Sermon Title: “A Wise Faith”
Scripture: Proverbs 24:23-26; James 3:13-18
Choral Anthem: “Flawless” Words and Music by Bart Millard, Mike Scheuchzer, Nathan Cochran, Robby Shaffer, Barry Graul, Solomon Olds, David Garcia and Ben Glover, Arranged by Ed Hogan.  Soloists: Kelly deBernard and Ron Coleman
There’s got to be more than going back and forth.  From doing right to doing wrong, ‘cause we were taught that’s who we are.  Come on, get in line right behind me; you along with every body thinking there’s worth in what you do.  Then like a hero who takes the stage when we’re on the edge of our seats saying “It’s too late,” well, let me introduce you to amazing grace.  No matter the bumps, no matter the bruises, no matter the scars, still the truth is the cross has made, the cross has made you flawless…No matter the hurt or how deep the wound is, no matter the pain, still the truth is the cross has made…Could it possibly be that we simply can’t believe. That this unconditional kind of love would be enough to take a filthy wretch like this and wrap him up in righteousness?  But that’s exactly what He did! …Oh yeah!  Take a breath, smile and say, “I’m right here, right now.  I’m okay.” Because the cross was enough…No matter what they say or what you think you are, the day you called His name.  He made you flawless…

Service of the Lord's Day with Rev. Ed Soto.
Sermon Title: "An Impartial Faith"
Scripture: Proverbs 29:11-14; James 2:1-7.
Choral Anthem: “All Good Gifts” Words by Mathias Claudis, trans. by Jane M. Campbell, Music by David Schwoebel
All good gifts around us are sent from heaven above; Then thank, the Lord, O thank the Lord for all His love.  We plow the fields and scatter the good seed on the land.  But it is fed and watered by Lord’s almighty hand.  He sends the snow in winter, the warmth to swell the grain.  The breezes and the sunshine, and soft refreshing rain… He only is the Maker of all things near and far.  He paints the wayside flower.  He lights the evening star;  The wind and waves obey Him, by Him the birds are fed; Much more to us His children, He gives our daily bread….  We thank Thee then, O father, for all things bright and good.  The seed time and the harvest, our life, our health, our food.  Accept the gifts we offer for all Thy love imparts.  And what Thou most desirest.  And what Thou most desirest.  Our humble, thankful hearts…
