Service of the Lord’s Day with Rev. Ed Soto
Sermon Title: “Jairus the Elder”
Scripture: Isaiah 9:1, 1-4; Mark 5: 21-43
Choral Anthem: “O Jesus, I have promised” Words by John E. Bode, Music by Lloyd Larson
O Jesus, I have promised to serve you till the end; be forever near me, my Master and my Friend.  I shall not fear the battle if you are by my side, nor wander from the pathway if you will be my guide.  O let me feel you near me, the world is ever near; I see the sights that dazzle, the tempting sounds I hear.  My foes are ever near me, around me and within; but, Jesus, now draw nearer, and shield my soul from sin.  I need thee every hour, stay thou nearby; temptations lose their power when thou art  nigh, AI need thee, O I need thee, every hour I need thee; O bless me now, my Savior, I come, I come to thee.  O Jesus, you have promised to all who follow you that where you are in glory, your servant shall be too; and, Jesus, I have promised to serve you to the end; O give me grace to follow, my Master and my friend.

Service of the Lord’s Day with Rev. Ed Soto
Sermon Title: “The Hemorrhaging Woman”
Scripture: Isaiah 49:1-7; Mark 5:21-43
Choral anthem: “A psalm folksong” by Edwin Penhorwood
The Lord’s my shepherd, I’ll not want; He makes me down to lie in pastures green; he leadeth me the quiet waters by. My soul he doth restore again; And me to walk doth make within the paths of righteousness, Een for his own name’s sake, To walk the paths of righteousness, E’en for his own name’s sake, Yea, though I walk in death’s dark vale, yet will I fear no ill, for thou are with me, and thy rod and staff me comfort still, Yet I’ll fear no ill.  Thy staff comfort me still.  My table thou hast furnished in presence of my foes; My head thou dost with oil anoint, And my cup overflows,.. Goodness and mercy all my life shall surely follow me; and in God’s house forever more my dwelling place shall be…

Service of the Lord’s Day with Rev Ed Soto
Sermon Title: “Insiders and Outsiders: The Gerasene Demoniac”
Scripture: Jeremiah 31:10-14; Mark 5:1-13
Choral Anthem: “Sing Noel!” Arranged by Joel Raney
Sing noel, …Come, little children, O come, one and all, to Bethlehem haste to the manger so small, God’s son for a gift has been sent you this night to be your redeemer, your joy and delight.  He’s born in a stable for you and for me.  Draw near by the bright gleaming starlight to see.  Sing glory to God in the heavens above, and thank him for Jesus the gift of his love.  Sing noel…  The first noel, the angels did say, was to certain poor shepherds in fields as they lay,  in fields where they lay keeping their sheep, on a cold winter’s night that was so deep. Noel, sing we all noel, sing noel…  Sing we now of Christmas, noel, sing we here!  Hear our grateful praises to the Babe so dear….Sing we now of Christmas, sign we all noel…  Angles called to shepherds, Leave your flocks at rest,…  journey forth to Bethlehem, and find the lambkin blest. Sing noel…
