Scripture: Deuteronomy 6:4-7; 1 Corinthians 8:4-6; Matthew 28:18-20.
Choral anthem: “Light of my soul” Text from Muenster Gesangbuch, Music by Peter Tchaikovsky, Adapted and arranged by Tom Fettke
Beautiful Savior, King of creation, Son of Man, Son of God, the Almighty! Truly I’d love Thee, truly I’d serve Thee, light of my soul, my crown and eternal joy. Fair are the meadows, fair are the woodlands, robed in the beautiful flowers that bloom in the springtime; Jesus is fairer, Jesus is purer, He makes the song of our sorrowing spirit. Fair is the sunshine, fair is the moon light, Jesus shines brighter than the stars, Jesus shines purer than the angels, the angels in the sky! Beautiful Savior, Lord of the nations, Son of Man, Son of God the Almighty! Glory and honor, praise, adoration, now and forever, forevermore be Thine! Glory and honor, praise, adoration! Now and forevermore… be Thine. Amen.
